This is a 3 pt. podcast with the 1st part devoted to the years prior to the popular release of Rap records. The 2nd part is concerning some of the earliest Hip-Hop and Rap records, incl. King Tim III, which is widely regarded as the 1st? Rap Record. Also on that set a nod to the West Coast with Capt. Rapp, and a joint from K-Hollywood out of San Diego CA, 1983. Last but not least is a lil mix I put together regarding the "Roxanne" phenomenon. I read somewhere that there are more than 50 "Roxanne" records, but I only own 11, and I only play like 6 or 7 of 'em.
Peace

Guitar Blues Mix done for my family in Mauritius. So if you are in the middle of the Indian Ocean and you need a place to chill and listen to some GOOD MUSIC...See my Father-in-Law, Greg G. at the Banana Beach Club in Grand Baie, and tell him Slopoke sent you. Peace.
This underground hip-hop mix is inspired, (and selected) by my wife, and mixed by me. Hope you have as much fun listening to it, as I had making it. It's gotta be the shoes. Truly a labor of love.
Part II of a Mix posted earlier. Hope this finds you in good health.

Just a lil latin flavored mix. So sit back, buckle up, and prepare for take-off.
Love, peace and hairgrease.
